Fighting For Freedom One Mind At A Time
At this year's LIberty Forum in New Hampshire, there was a "420 event" in Nashua. In a crowd of over 100 people, undercover police single out a 17 year-old black kid for arrest. When the crowd begins questioning his arrest, two PEACEFUL people are arrested as well. One of the arrestees is threatened with mace or pepper spray when he practices a peaceful, non-compliant response to his arrest. Another arrestee, as well as the crowd at large, is threatened with the dispatch of a K-9 officer.
I guess there were no unsolved crimes in Nashua that needed the police's service or people who needed protection, and they sought to disrupt an otherwise peaceful celebration of freedom.
It's noteworthy that the only use or threats of violence came from those behind a badge.
Nick Gillespie, his hair and black leather jacket talk ObamaCare and government cost estimates.
Since everything needs remaking (right, Hollywood), these guys remade the Schoolhouse Rock animated educational video about how a bill becomes a law to reflect the changes in the times. The changes are both in the message itself, as we see how bills become law in the 21st century, as well as the delivery.
Hope you have as much fun watching as I did.
For those unfamiliar with the philosophy of liberty, this is an excellent eight-minute lesson in self-ownership. The statist quo may seek to continually enslave you, but refusal to use force against your fellow man will set you free. Free to engage in VOLUNTARY exchanges with others. Exchanges that you find mutually beneficial, rather than sacrificing another's life, liberty or property by using fraud or force.
Sad, but mostly certainly true.
This is a beautifully shot minute and a half of puppies of all persuasions in a Pedigree advertisement.
If you watch closely, the English Bulldog is prominently featured, but as I well know, they don't jump for ANYTHING.
