If an economic hip hop video isn't your thing, here's a School House Rock style video showcasing the national debt's history from Alexander Hamilton until today. Contrary to what I was taught in elementary and high school about wars being "good" for the economy, you'll notice that many of the thresholds in this video's history of the national debt occur during or after war time. Maybe it's just the peacemonger in me that notices those tiny things.
